There is no reward without risk

The greater the risk, the greater the reward.

There is no reward without risk. the greater the risk, the greater the reward. The problem with trading shares, CFDs, options, etc - is that once you start making buttloads of money, you begin to believe that you can do this full-time, and can make $1,000 or $2,000 over a couple of days or on the intra-day price movements.

The math starts going to crap when you pro-rate this over a 30-day (month) period by trivially and simplistically calculating 30 days x $1,000 = $30,000, implying a $30,000 per month income. And then you think “why am I working so hard?”. But the one thing you forget is that you can lose $30,000 a month just as easily and quickly.

Stay close to reality. Never take for granted the stability of your job or income that is hard-earned.
